We are well aware that any unpleasant surprise at billing
time can ruin an otherwise super vacation. And, we believe
one shouldn't have had to enroll in a "night course"
to figure out what it all means. Therefore, we have tried
to make our rates and scheduling as complete and simple
as possible.
Typically
our trips and packages begin with you arriving in Winnipeg,
Manitoba, Canada. Commercial airlines service there many
times a day, and travel from anywhere in the US is routine.
As little or as much assistance you may need from your doorstep
and back again will be our pleasure. Our greeters will meet
you in Winnipeg, assist you in any way possible, and transfer
you to the plane for your flight to Lynn Lake.
For those of you who will be flying in a private plane,
the rate chart shows pricing starting from Lynn Lake, Manitoba.
There you will find a hard surface commercial runway with
safe, secure tie down facilities. Upon morning arrival in
Lynn Lake, we will have arranged transportation and assistance
from the airport to the float plane base, and about 30 minutes
after climbing aboard we will be greeting you on the dock
of Tate Island Lodge.
If
you are traveling by vehicle, your destination will once
again be Lynn Lake, Manitoba. Travel time is approximately
10 hours north of Winnipeg on #6 (the only road that goes
north). The small town of Thompson lies about two thirds
of the way up, with a very good selection of all the big
town conveniences and accommodations. This would be an excellent
stopover place, leaving you a little over 3 hours travel
the next day to Lynn Lake, out to the float plane base,
and into camp.
